Deep Roots Farm is a no till market garden located between the mountains in Little cove, right outside of Mercersburg. We are striving for sustainability in the way we grow food to feed our family and our community. We are and always will be committed to never using chemicals of any kind on our farm. To promoting biodiversity, to building better soil in order to grow healthier plants, and to only feeding our chickens with locally grown non GMO grains.
We value our relationships with our community and welcome you to visit us Saturdays 8:30-1:00 at the new farmers market in Mercersburg Pa. on Park Avenue across the street from the lions club park, there is extra parking on the side of the building.
About Us
It’s been a shared dream ever since we met to homestead and live sustainably. We’ve gardened and canned a substantial amount of our own food for the last 15 years, learning more every year. It is important to us to raise our children in this environment . We want them to eat healthy food we trust. They love to play in the soil alongside us while we work in the gardens . So naturally we chose to grow without the use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides for the safety of our children and now you and yours.
